RYANAIR CABIN CREW CREWLINK DALMAC WORKFORCE INTERNATIONAL St JAMES MANAGEMENT ..WANT TO WORK AT RYANAIR !!!!!!!!!

Ryanairdontcare Campaign have been sent this article below from present cabin crew at Ryanair.
Young people wishing a career in aviation as cabin crew for Ryanair should see this..
Ryanairdontcare Campaign would also like to ask for help getting this message below on as many forums related to Ryanair recruitment in Europe as possible.
Ryanairdontcare Campaign wish to thank present Ryanair cabin crew for telling their story...

Cabin Crew Ryanair their words...

Hello John

There were already many stories about our conditions of work in web, television, newspapers etc.
Not going to repeat these, my story comes from my personal experience and experience of my colleagues from around the Europe.
There is no specific order of topics I choose to write about, it's just a random flow of the things going terribly wrong.
I hope no one gets offended by my words as this is not my intention.
Here comes the rant:

First of all we are not allowed to join the existing union or unite into union, although officially Ryanair says we can.
They just refuse to talk with unions, ignoring them completely.
At the moment unfortunately there is no one brave enough to organize as that person would be dismissed straight away without a reason.
That means that we can't fight in legal way for our rights and that's the way Ryanair wants to keep.
The pilots managed to create Ryanair Pilot Group to represent themselves and fight for their rights.
I watch closely how they work and hope that their success will help us (cabin crew) to finally stand up for ourselves.

The management at Ryanair is terrible.
It comes from very top through all the levels to the bottom, to us.
I never received any positive feedback from my superiors, not a single word.
If something comes back it's always a bad thing.
Depending on the base itself and the base supervisors it might differ from bad to very bad.

There are some bases in which the cabin crew members have to report by the end of the day (sometimes very long four sector day) to the base supervisor and explain why for example they sold only this amount of scratch cards and not more, did they tried their best to improve the sales?
The final feedback is always negative: you didn't try good enough and next time you need to improve.
That time after the flight is of course not being paid for.
I understand that sales on board are being important part of Ryanair profit and helps to keep lower fares but that kind of attitude doesn't motivate us to sell more. All it does it's creating unnecessary fear and stress which during the flight might be a safety concern.
We are pushed to the limits and that repeats every day.

From every item we sell on board we are receiving sales bonus.
You might think that's a good reason to sell more. Well it is but since a while there is a problem with that part of our salary.
We are not receiving the amount we expect or not receiving it at all.

Nobody knows for sure how the sales bonus is calculated.
If there are some discrepancies in our bars on board (many times it's a catering mistake) there is no information who is paying for that.
We suspect we are and the money are being taken from our salary.
Some of my colleagues didn't receive sales bonus at all despite very busy roster and big sales on board.
The person(s) responsible for answering the queries about missing bonus are never coming back with satisfying answer.
The only explanation we are receiving is the phrase "stock adjustment" with no explanation what that even means.
There are few persons in my base that kept the track of their monthly sales so there were able to calculate by themselves how much money more or less they should receive by the end of the month.
Since they received 0 (zero), they posted a query to payroll department stating that they should receive that and that amount of money.
The answer was: there were some discrepancies in the bars and missing items that's why we took that and that amount of money from your salary.
Apparently it's another way for Ryanair to make a profit.

There was always a big issue in Ryanair with selling scratch cards on board.
It must be a huge profit as we are being constantly nag and push to sell more.
Some of my friends in other bases must sell specific number of scratch cards on each flight.
If they don't, they need to explain why.
Ryanair says that the money from selling them goes to the charity but there is no information how big percent actually is being send to charity and how much Ryanair keeps.
Can't provide that information to passengers if they are asking.

We are not being paid for turnarounds between the flights although we are still working.
We have to report 45 minutes before the flight for briefing and preparing the aircraft and that time we also work for free.
If we have to stay after the flight to explain why we didn't sell that and that or fill up some reports, that's also the time with no pay.
The only time we are getting paid for it's the time in the air.

The days marked as HSBY on our rosters are the days we have to be prepared to fly in case they need us.
That's the time not being paid as well and in case of call we need to reach the airport within one hour.
That's sometimes difficult and with the fact that most of the Ryanair airports are being far away from cities in remote locations, it means that if you are without the car and have to relay on public transportation you might not make it on time.
Of course you can always call a taxi but the money goes from your private pocket.
Not reaching the airport on time means that you will receive a note called "late show" and probably once you land you will need to have a conversation with your base supervisor to explain yourself.
Being sick in Ryanair means not being paid as well.
There is no sickness benefits of any kind regardless the country.
We are paying for the doctor and the medication from your own money.
There is special procedure  when you are being sick.
You need to let know the crew control that you are not able to fly minimum two hours before scheduled departure.
That's understandable and reasonable although you might have an accident one hour before the departure and that will not matter for Ryanair. You will face the consequences anyway.
The base supervisor must be informed as well and on top of that you must come to the airport (no matter how sick you are), to the crew room to fill up the sickness report and fax it back to Dublin.
It's a ridiculous procedure.

If I'm going to be sick more than three days, I will also need to provide doctor's certificate (in English)
For someone based in Ireland or England that's less problems as it will be already in English language.
For the rest of crew based around whole Europe the cost of translation is again on you.
Too many days sick it's no good at all.
Probably you will be called to the office for a never friendly chat with your base supervisor to explain again and again what was happening and why you are sick so often.
Ryanair offers us a possibility to change the base if we are unhappy for any reason with our current one.
But there are some bases well known from being easy to get out from and there are bases which are almost impossible to change.
I don't know too many people happy with their current allocation.
Many of my colleagues want's to change the base, for many reasons.
It seems like it should be easy for Ryanair to make people happy and give them what the want, just shuffle them around the Europe, but unfortunately it doesn't work that way.
I've seen some of my friends in tears after meeting with base managers almost begging for transfer because of sick parents, kids, families being left behind.
None of them got the transfer. None of the reason was good enough to get it.
There is no compassion in this company from anyone.
There were people forced by their personal live events to quit working for Ryanair as that was the only way out of their current base.
I heard about someone quitting because of sudden death of the family member and not receiving few extra (unpaid) days off to say last goodbye.

It's all very sad but true.
This is not the way it should be.

The conditions at  Ryanair are constantly downgrading and once you think it can not get any worse, it always does.
The local institutions are turning blind eye at what is happening to us.
There is no support from anyone.

All I want and I believe that's also what all of my colleagues want is to be treated with dignity.
I still enjoy the job a lot.
But that's because of friends I have a pleasure to work with and the passengers.
Would love to be proud of my employer as well, but that's currently impossible.
It's a heartless machine that aims for profit only.
They use the current economic crisis to make as much money as they can disregarding completely employees doing the actual job.
Wish one day that will change, although sadly I must admit it's probably just wishful thinking.

Thank You.
Regards

Down with low-cost Ryanair at all costs

Ryanairdontcare Campaign have been sent this great article below that we should all see...

 http://www.presseurop.eu/en/content/article/4042251-down-low-cost-all-costs

Ryanair: Secrets from the Cockpit...8pm Monday 12th August... UK DISPATCHES Channel 4...

What do Michael O’Leary [the CEO of Ryanair] and Scrooge McDuck have in common? Both are multi-millionaires. How can you tell them apart? McDuck built his fortune by being a miser, Michael O’Leary built his by helping other people to be misers.

Even though Michael O’Leary has declared that he wants to people to fly standing up in his planes and make them pay to use toilets on board, today, Ryanair is Europe’s leading airline in terms of the number of passengers, with 80 million travellers per year. It is also, in spite of slight decline in the most recent quarter, a particularly profitable company.
For the the last fiscal year (2012-2013), Ryanair posted sales of €4.9bn with profits that increased to more than 11 per cent, or €569m. Figures that can usefully be compared with those reported by Lufthansa, for example, which announced more than 3 per cent profits for the fiscal year of 2012, or €990 million for a net €30bn in sales. As it stands, Lufthansa must fly six times more passengers than Ryanair to make less than double the return earned by its competitor. In other words, two euros invested in Ryanair is worth more than six euros in Lufthansa.

Ryanair is now the norm

Why is this the case? “Lowest cost always wins”, said Michael O’Leary at a press conference in Gothenburg last autumn. This constituent doctrine of global capitalism is founded on the idea that, in what is now a worldwide market, price will always win over quality. And to be cheaper than the competition, you have to have lower costs.
Ryanair’s business model is based on the principle of “bad enough”
It is a goal that can be achieved in several ways. Ryanair’s business model is based on the principle of “bad enough”: the treatment reserved for the airline’s staff and its passengers has to be bad enough to ensure ticket prices so low that customers will accept not only to be treated like old socks, but will also not give a toss about the company’s employees who are even worse treated than they are. The fact that Ryanair is a company that mistreats its personnel as well as its passengers is not a scoop.
Michael O’Leary is also a perfect reflection of his era for another reason: he seems to be custom made for a media world that is fond of charismatic and tweetable villains. He is constantly drumming up a buzz, and likes to pose with bikini-clad ladies.
Ryanair is neither a young miracle or a black sheep, or an exception that confirms the rule. Ryanair is, or is in the process of becoming, the norm; one of the most striking illustrations of a vast paradigm shift.
The European social model of my childhood days, in which the labour market and economic life were characterised by consultation, a balance of power and the distribution of wealth, is fading fast. The 20th Century has definitively been and gone. In its stead, we have been offered a ticket back to the 19th Century: cut-throat capitalism, the rejection of trade unions, wage dumping, and the exploitation of workers. And Ryanair is leading the way.
I have never taken a Ryanair flight. And I never will, not under any circumstance. Not only because I prefer to travel like a civilised human being, but also because, as a liberal, I believe that I should try, as best I can, to assume political and moral responsibility for my actions as and to quite simply exercise my power as a consumer.

Advance of the Neanderthal economy

Can 80 million passengers be wrong? Yes
Can 80 million passengers be wrong? Yes. And I am amazed that more people are not aware of this fact. As far as I know, a good number of Ryanair passengers are educated young people who are concerned about social issues. Some among them have given up eating meat products to protest against industrial livestock.
I imagine that an equally large number are quick to boycott artists who do not respect women or put forward racist opinions. And yet, they travel on Ryanair – an airline that is not only disgraceful, but one whose very existence has obliged decent companies to adapt to what is termed "an exceptionally competitive situation," in other words to become brutal in their turn, or to throw in the towel.
It is difficult to see how someone who describes themselves as “left wing” can queue up a Ryanair check-in desk without blushing. In recent history, no other company has, both directly and indirectly – through the influence exerted by its example – contributed to the undermining of social tenets that the “left” claims to defend, and which constitute the foundation on which the prosperous societies of post-war Western Europe were built: job security, decent wages, solidarity between employees and their companies etc…
Why have intellectuals not raised the question more often? Why has the case of Ryanair not been examined by an in-depth debate? Why has the contemporary Swedish left so little to say about the economy and the violence of certain coercive relationships it entangles itself with?
In more concrete terms, why is it that Lilla Hj√§rtat [a character in children’s literature who is considered to be racist] and the vowels used in personal pronouns [it has been proposed that the feminine "hon" and the masculine "han" be replaced by the neuter pronoun "hen"] are much more burning issues in Sweden than Michael O’Leary and the advance of the neanderthal economy?

RYANAIR EXPLOIT...RYANAIR BASE SUPERVISORS EMER O'CALLAGHAN WORKING TARGET..PROFIT PRIORITY..

Ryanair Europe's greatest exploiter of young people send working targets for base supervisors, exploit more and more......
As you will see below, Emer O'Callaghan head of in flight's target report to all base supervisors 2013-2014 which clearly shows the real story about working for Europe's Greatest Training ROBBERS Ryanair...

John said,
Young probationary Ryanair cabin crew do not have a chance of a decent job when it comes to working at Ryanair.Termination of new recruits has fallen from 60% thanks to my campaign of targeting Crewlink and Dalmac(workforce international) recruitment days .This will continue Mr O'Leary....
ATTENDACE
As you can see cabin crew are deducted money from their salary if they are absent..If they are sick and can not get a doctors note in English, deductions from their salary are made.
Attrition meaning when it comes to Ryanair (Reduce the strength/effectiveness of cabin crew by attack and pressure) leading them to leave....
ATTRITION
As you can see Bristol has a surplus of cabin crew like most bases but continue recruitment of young people, all paying up to 3000 euro to train. The target of 850 hours in one year is for Ryanair contracted cabin crew which is only 20% of Ryanair's cabin crew workforce.

Target for FY 13.14
As you can see letters from agencies (crewlink being Ryanair) need O'Callaghan approval as there are so many being given out. This is a very big part of the TERMINATION scam at Ryanair.
Unpaid leave
Up to 3 months must be taken even though recruitment dates are increased prier to these months.

Reporter Seyi Rhodes hears from pilots of Europe's biggest airline about their concerns around passenger safety. Serving Ryanair pilots reveal their worries over Ryanair's fuel policy and pilot working conditions.

Rhodes also examines the events of one evening in 2012 when three diverted Ryanair planes radioed 'mayday' over an airport in Valencia in Spain.

All airports Ryanair use, all the authorities, especially Manchester Airport, Liverpool John Lennon and Stansted are aware of safety issues, bad working conditions, suicide of a Ryanair pilot in 2011, all turn a blind eye, profit being their priority..
I can tell you this from my own dealings with airport authorities over the last 5 years regarding Ryanair.... So much is kept from the public so that share prices are not effected with pension money being used, helping Ryanair exploit even more...

SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTEL TRAIN CRASH HELPS RYANAIR EXPLOIT THE DEAD and THEIR FAMILIES...SHAME ON RYANAIR..

Ryanairdontcare Campaign were contacted today by a person who wishes to help translate the story which broke in Spain regarding Ryanair's pure evil act of charging a victims son double the price of a ticket...
The train that crashed in Santiago was were Angel wanted to be.Please read the story below which has been translated for us by a kind person who wishes to help....

Showing no respect or dignity to Pilar or her Son ....

RYANAIR MANAGEMENT ARE SCUM.

ANGEL AND THE FLIGHT THAT DOUBLED IN PRICE
THE SON OF ONE OF THE VICTIMS DRIVES 600 KMS BECAUSE THE AIRLINE UPPED THE PRICE OF THE TICKET

Angel was at home when he heard the tragic news. His mother, Pilar, aged 66, was travelling in carriage 6 of the train that crashed in Santiago and he will never see her again. He did what anyone in his situation would have done; he looked for the quickest way to get to the scene of the accident. Overcome by emotion, at 6 a.m. he started looking in the Rumbo flight search website and found a Ryanair  flight from Madrid to Santiago. He booked a seat for himself and his wife, Elisa. It was the first available flight and cost 471 Euros for the two tickets, which seemed expensive for such a short flight. But who thinks about cost in moments like these?

He knew the two seats had been booked because the Irish airline has provided the booking references.  They received a message from Ryanair informing them that they would receive a confirmation email in a few minutes.

With the issue of transport resolved and with a few hours to spare before check-in they took their two children to their grandparents’ house.

For two hours Elisa waited for the email to arrive before finally phoning Rumbo: “There wasn’t much time before the flight left, so I called Rumbo to find out what was going on. I told them that we were the next-of-kin of one of the victims of the accident and we just had to get on the plane,” she said as she held back tears at the makeshift morgue.

Rumbo told her that they would  find out what the problem was and try to resolve it as fast as they could. A few minutes later Rumbo told her what had happened. They hadn’t received the email confirmation because Ryanair had changed the price of the tickets - which now cost 800 euros. Between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. the airline had almost doubled the price of the seats on the main flight carrying the relatives of the victims to the scene of the catastrophe.

The flight agency insisted that they would have to pay the increased price if they wished to fly: “I told them to cancel the tickets because I wasn’t going to let anyone   take advantage of our tragedy” said Elisa.

“It’s disgusting that people try to make money out of a tragedy like this. Instead of helping us, putting on more flights and giving us more options, they make it even more painful for us,” said Angel, annoyed at the airline’s total lack of compassion.

“I don’t care if legally they can get away with it. It doesn’t make it any less reprehensible. Companies should realise that their brand image can be affected by such a response to a tragedy. I can’t believe they made them go through that,” said a friend of Angel, clearly upset.

Angel, an only child has now lost both parents. With his emotions in tatters, he got in his car and drove the 600 kilometres to Santiago de Compostela to identify his mother’s body. He identified her by her handbag and a fingerprint. “We arrived seven hours later and can you imagine what it was like driving in that state?” said Elisa.

Angel couldn’t bring himself to see his mother’s face. He preferred to keep the memory of the last time he saw her, when he went to the station to see her off. As he lifted her case onto the train he turned to give her a goodbye kiss, not realising it would be the last kiss he would ever give her.

Newspaper article in Spain below and not one mention in the UK press....

John said,
How low would one go to make profit....This story shows you Ryanair are not interested in human life..Think about the money Ryanair will make when a accident as bad as this train crash happens,
priority being PROFIT...Next question would be,do Ryanair put safety issues as a priority ?
NO they do not...The death of their own pilot Paul Ridgard in 2011was no concern for David Bonderman or Michael O'Leary, these two are SCUM...

EUROPEAN BOYCOTT OF RYANAIR IS NEEDED.
